Look at my chubby cheeks getting a pitch done!
Reflecting
In reality as my associates may know I did not actually complete a pitch previous to this one. I have done product pitches in other classes before though, and while never the cleanest I feel I presented the idea with the clarity it needed.
What Changed?
Well what mostly changed was the actual idea behind the project itself, with the interviews I gained a lot of insight as to how I can go about making this the perfect product that can meet a specific goal and still have the splash to impact lives elsewhere.
You killed it. That could have been a pitch on Shark Tank or something. The idea seems well though out and you delivered your message articulately. Keep up the good work. My only criticism would be that at a couple of points youspoke maybe a little too quickly but other than that great stuff.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed watching your pitch - great job! You were very thorough in explaining the product's design, intention, and target market, while discussung the unmet need I'm sure many people didn't know they had. The only feedback I would have is the same as the other commenter - on some bits, your speed increased, so maybe just slow down during presentation a little. I'm curious, how would you be planning to market your product?
ReplyDeleteDaniel,
ReplyDeleteI always appreciate your wit. I also like that you dressed up! I have a question what about criminals using your invention? That's my first reaction and question. Especially since these security measures have been put in place to keep us safe, that is the intention anyway. How would you answer this if a concerned client asked it?
Hey Zahra,
DeleteI appreciate you bringing up this point and I feel it pertinent enough to respond as it's a tough ethical choice that I have grappled with.
In the end, the end goal of what I envision a perfect world to be one without undue discrimination. there's obviously some discriminations we decide as a society that are acceptable, like legal drinking and smoking limits. With technology advancing where the identity of people and their image can be taken, manipulated, and now can be so far as projected onto bodies in videos, the right to privacy should not discriminate either. This technology like any other that promotes human rights can be a double edged sword. The internet has connected the world but allows hate speech to be amplified and find common believers, and so while this product can be used for escaping police detection, I believe that the overall protection of peoples private image and identity in public spaces outweigh.
